Bank of Canada maintains overnight rate, Prime will stay at 7.20%.
For the third announcement of 2024 (6th in a row), the Bank of Canada has decided to maintain the overnight rate today which means Prime will remain at 7.20%.
The next scheduled date for announcing the overnight rate target is June 5, 2024.
